Frequently Asked Questions

What is Dicamba M used for?

Dicamba M is a selective herbicide used for controlling broadleaf weeds in turf, pasture, and non-crop areas. It is commonly applied to lawns and open spaces to manage persistent weeds such as clover, capeweed, and other invasive broadleaf species while leaving most grass species unaffected when used correctly. Not suitable for Buffalo.

How does Dicamba M work?

Dicamba M works by being absorbed through the leaves and roots of broadleaf weeds, where it disrupts plant growth hormones. This causes uncontrolled growth, twisting, and eventual death of the weed while most turf grasses are not affected when applied at recommended rates.

What weeds does Dicamba M control?

Dicamba M is effective against a wide range of broadleaf weeds, including clover, capeweed, dandelion, plantain, thistles, and other common lawn and pasture weeds, depending on application timing and conditions.

How long does Dicamba M take to work?

Visible results usually appear within several days to two weeks after application, depending on weather, weed type, and growth stage. Mature or deep-rooted weeds may require follow-up applications for full control.

How should Dicamba M be applied?

Dicamba M should be applied as a diluted foliar spray using calibrated spraying equipment, ensuring even coverage of actively growing weeds. Best results are achieved when weeds are young and actively growing under mild weather conditions.

Is Dicamba M safe for Buffalo Lawns?

No it is not. To clear up broadleaf weeds in Buffalo lawns Bow and Arrow is a good option.
